MANY KINDS OF "MOVING COLLECTIONS"

HAVE YOU RECENTLY MOVED YOUR COLLECTION?

SLRCCC will re-convene the Library Design Sub-Committee. The mandate and name of the committee will be changed to Library Facilities. The group will work with administrator reps and with district management and facilities personnel. Our initial concerns will be with TLs and school libraries where collections are moving and the term "moving" is meant in a broad sense. Collections are moved due to upgrades or refurbishing (moved in and out) or rebuilding (moved over) but also due to school closure (moved elsewhere) and to windfall funding (moved to the limits).
