Publishers put the squeeze on library ebook lending

This same explosive effect has not been felt or seen in school libraries.  Consider that, for young readers, e-readers are less desirable than tablets or multi-purpose personal devices. The ERAC Report (below) alludes to the "shifting sands" for e-collections and e-lending.
