Who’s Going Where?

Lots of movement in school library positions this year; here are more TL staffing changes and there are more to come! New faces will be found at Windermere and at Kingsford-Smith.

Workshops this Week and 2008:

Have you marked your calendar for the second TL Studio Workshop at Kerrisdale Elementary Library on Monday December 10 at 4 pm? There’s room if you decide you would like to join us.

The TL Accounting 101 Workshop for TLs who are new and nearly new (or always seeking new and interesting ideas) still has lots of spaces on Thursday, December 13 at 4 pm. VSB Accounting always has important information about processes and paperwork.

Planning continues for Technology Day and Literacy Day where a number of TLs will be featured as presenters – there will even be the husband of one!

NOTE: While registration is online and you may want to make sure I order enough snacks by registering ahead, there are more than enough spaces for you to decide at the last minute to join us!

Thanks to …

  • TLs who invited me to Collingwood, Carleton, Gladstone, Trudeau, Nootka, and Moberly. I loved the Board Games and Literacy Night and teaching powerpoint to grade 6s.
  • IT for help with content server management. I can change the TL webpage now. The current and past Livromanie titles are now up under "French Resources."*
  • TL Fred who created a wiki for Modern Languages
  • TL GS for inviting me to lunch with Jamie McKenzie.

What a great week!
